  • Selecting the highest limit level that is less than or equal to your after-tax net pay per pay cycle from your employer will provide you with maximum flexibility and not require further verification. The maximum limit level per pay cycle is $2,000.

    You are under no obligation to drawdown any or all of the limit, and there are no fees related to your limit.

    Transaction fees only apply for actual advances, and these will be funded by your employer or yourself (at your employer’s election).

  • You can easily request an advance - either recurring or one-off - via the SalaryFlex™ app.

  • SalaryFlex™ does not charge any interest, setup or late fees.

    We only charge a small transaction fee per transaction, which may be funded by your employer or yourself (at your employer’s election).

  • Your employer will arrange for repayment of your advance and any applicable transaction fees to be deducted from your pay and repaid to SalaryFlex™ on the Due Date.

    If for any reason the repayment is not made by your employer, or you cease employment and there are insufficient funds available to repay your outstanding advances and any transaction fees, SalaryFlex™ may action your direct debit or PayTo.

  • There are a number of money-saving tips available on the app to all verified SalaryFlex™ customers.

    You will also be entitled to join financial fitness workshops that will be offered at least annually to your workplace once your account is verified.

    SalaryFlex™ is not a financial adviser. You should consider seeking independent legal, financial, taxation or other advice to check how the website information relates to your unique circumstances. SalaryFlex™ is not liable for any loss caused, whether due to negligence or otherwise arising from the use of, or reliance on, the information provided directly or indirectly, by use of the financial wellness offerings.

  • No external credit checks are undertaken. We also do not provide any credit reporting to third parties other than your employer or your employer’s payroll system.

    Account verification is undertaken by SalaryFlex™ by:

    - confirming your employment with your employer or your employer’s payroll system;

    - setting your advance limit based on your advance limit request and following a check with either your employer, your employer’s payroll system or your bank to ensure your advance limit is less than or equal to your net pay per pay cycle plus any applicable transaction fees;

    - confirming your bank details match the account that your salary is paid into by your employer, either via your employer, your employer’s payroll system or your bank (including via third party systems);

    - your confirmation that you have received a test deposit into your nominated bank account;

    - you setting up a direct debit arrangement with us; and

    - verifying your identity via a Know Your Customer (KYC) check (using a third party provider).

  • SalaryFlex™ is required to undertake a KYC check on each customer, as it is regulated by Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-terrorism Financing legislation in Australia.

  • Yes, provided your bank offers OSKO™ (the good news is that most do!). Because we use OSKO™ to process advances, you can receive your advance outside of business hours, including on weekends and public holidays.

  • The test deposit may take up to 24 hours from the time we process it to hit your bank account.

    However, once you’ve confirmed that you’ve received your test deposit and your account is verified, since funds are transferred via OSKO, you should receive them within a few minutes of SalaryFlex™ processing your advance.

    If you have a same day request, we will process it within 12 hours, usually much quicker.

  • A cut-off date is required for administrative purposes. If you request an advance in a certain pay cycle that is after the cut-off date for that pay cycle, your advance will be repaid from your salary in the following pay cycle.

    For example, if your payday is usually the last day of each month and you request an advance for February 25th, but your cut-off date is February 24th, since the February advance is paid after the February cut-off date, the advance made to you on February 25th will be repaid to SalaryFlex™ from your March salary.

  • If for any reason the repayment is not made by your employer, or you cease employment and there are insufficient funds available to repay your outstanding advances and any transaction fees, SalaryFlex™ requires a direct debit or PayTo be set up to enable direct repayment to SalaryFlex™.

  • This is a SalaryFlex™ business requirement.

  • You can update this information in the profile update section in the app.

    Alternatively, you can email SalaryFlex™ at support@salaryflex.com.au

  • This is a security feature to ensure that if a third party accesses your account for any reason, they cannot divert your advances to another account.

    You can change your bank details by contacting SalaryFlex™ at support@salaryflex.com.au

  • You can update this information in the profile update section in the app.

    Alternatively, you can email SalaryFlex™ at support@salaryflex.com.au

  • You can change your advance limit in the Profile section of the app. Your new advance limit will need to be verified by SalaryFlex™ before you can access the additional amounts.

  • The money advanced by SalaryFlex™ is your hard earned money, just paid to you early. You’re free to spend it on whatever you choose.

  • SalaryFlex™ donates 1% of its after-tax profits to Ardoch, which is a children’s education charity focused on improving educational outcomes for children and young people in disadvantaged communities.

    One in three children in Australia’s most disadvantaged communities start school developmentally vulnerable and they continue to fall behind as they progress through school. Ardoch seeks to change this.

  • No, other than checking that your salary per paycycle covers your advance limit and any transaction fees, which we confirm with either your employer, your employer’s payroll system or your bank, we do not undertake any external credit checks.

    We also do not provide any credit reporting to third parties (other than confirming your advances via your employer or your employer’s payroll system to enable repayment).

  • No, you do not need to provide any collateral or security to SalaryFlex™ to obtain an advance.

    You will only need to provide a direct debit or PayTo authority to SalaryFlex™ which will only be actioned in the unlikely event that the repayment is not made by your employer on your behalf.

  • No, there are no lock-in contracts with SalaryFlex™. Having your account set up and verified just means that if at any stage you want an advance, it’s all set up and ready to go!

    You can cancel scheduled advances or your account at any time with no penalty. Any advances already made to you and not yet repaid will become repayable if you cancel your account.

  • SalaryFlex’s terms & conditions are available in the app, and need to be accepted electronically to enable you to become a SalaryFlex™ customer.

  • You can easily change or delete a scheduled advance via the app, or alternatively you can email us at support@salaryflex.com.au

    If you change or delete one or more advances from a series of recurring advances, SalaryFlex™ reserves the right to charge the ad-hoc/one off fee rather than the recurring fee.
