We’re passionate about solving problems and plugging gaps in the market.
After witnessing well paid professional colleagues facing a large proportion of their living expenses falling due out of cycle with their salary pay date, and the credit card/personal loan juggle and stress to bridge the gap until payday, we figured there must be a better way.
Coupled with our senior corporate experience which highlighted the issues faced by employers in employee wellbeing and productivity, as well as recruitment and retention, we came up with a multi-faceted solution to address the issues on both sides.
And so, SalaryFlex™ was born.
Meet Jessica
In addition to Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Law (Honours), and a Masters in Applied Finance, Jessica has over 15 years’ experience spanning both private legal practice and senior executive roles up to and including as General Counsel/Company Secretary of various ASX 300 companies. Her broad experience covers varied aspects across diverse businesses, including legal, numerous HR aspects including remuneration and benefits, bonus structures and equity incentive schemes, recruitment, training and policies, corporate governance, finance, M&A, equity capital markets, strategy and investor relations.
Despite having no medical background, Jessica is co-inventor of the accepted patent behind Viraleze™ antiviral nasal spray (product received $1M MRFF funding, on-market in UK, Europe, Hong Kong & Vietnam), and co-inventor on a published patent for a new indication for an existing medical device (Zika virus).
Meet Lauren
Lauren has over 12 years’ experience, including at a top tier law firm and a number of ASX 20-100 companies across diverse industries, with direct experience in corporate governance, legal, mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, HR, finance, treasury and regulatory matters.
Lauren won the Blake Dawson Waldron Contract Law prize for topping the year in Contract Law B at Monash University.
